I am from the small town of Missinipe in northern Saskatchewan. I moved to Winnipeg in 2012 and have been in Thompson since 2020. I am a graduate of The Massage Therapy College of Manitoba (now known as the Evolve College of Massage Therapy) and of Canadian Mennonite University. My work is focused around what is best for my client. I use cupping massage, myofascial release techniques, and focused treatment.
I am a Certified Lymphedema Therapist, trained in Complete Decongestive Therapy to help improve the quality of life of people who have Lymphedema. I have been accepted into the Lymphology Association of North America. I am also a certified garment fitter with Medi, Juzo, and Jobst and am able to fit my lymphedema patients with the garment best suited for them. I am always looking to learn new things and I continue to pursue further education in treatment modalities to give my patients the care and treatment they need.
In August 2020, I moved to Thompson with my spouse, shortly after our wedding. I have come to love living in this beautiful place, especially for its stunning outdoors. My home is filled with joy, thanks to my dog named Hero and my cat named Jasper. Recently, my life became even more exciting with the arrival of my baby. I enjoy spending time canoeing and walking Hero along the Millennium Trail, making the most of the natural surroundings.
